Leigh C. Scariano
Born and raised on Tiwa Land (Albuquerque, New Mexico) and having lived in Italy and on Tongva Land (Los Angeles, California), I bring an evolved, cultured perspective to all types of writing assignments. With a degree in Creative Writing from UNM, I’m a passionate and visionary storyteller, as well as a dedicated researcher and skilled technical writer.
Comfort in impermanence is a bit of a life philosophy for me. Born out of my grieving process after losing my brilliant artist mother to suicide in 2008, it became a mantra to help me accept the cycles of life and death and the fleeting nature of just about everything. My work is inspired and influenced by this state of being and my relationship with the world. I believe in taking on projects that are more than just advertising—but have a greater purpose of uniting us as human beings and doing good. I am a practitioner of Italian folk magic, a maker, and a mother. My four-year-old daughter is the love of my life. Some of my favorite activities include curating playlists to dance to, riding my bike, swimming in the ocean, singing and playing music, and venturing out in nature to connect with Spirit.
